Tipping Point works UK wide to support communities, groups, and individuals from all backgrounds to win on climate justice. We support groups in building networks, actions, and momentum to reach a tipping point for lasting change. A huge component of our work focusses on global fossil finance, in particular we work with UK based groups to build their understanding of, and solidarity with, frontline communities fighting against climate bomb projects globally. Our banking targets are all based within the UK - taking advantage of our proximity to UK based financial giants - primarily looking at Barclays, Standard Chartered, and HSBC alongside a wide range of UK insurers and investors. The majority of our public facing fossil finance work happens through the Defund Climate Chaos network.
